Two Yemenis were killed on Friday in an explosion caused by a landmine laid previously by the Houthi rebels in Yemen’s Red Sea port city of Hodeidah, a government official told Xinhua.
According to the local government official, who asked to remain anonymous, “an explosion of a Houthi-laid landmine killed two citizens and destroyed their motorcycles south of Hodeidah.”
“The explosion struck the citizens who were riding motorcycles to the public market in Al Khawkhah district,” the source said.
