Germany: Second World War bomb in Kaiserslautern will be neutralised by controlled explosion


The aerial bomb from the Second World War, which was found on Wednesday at the ACC site in Kaiserslautern, must be blown up. This was announced by the city administration. It was not possible to defuse in situ with the usual technical means.

The controlled explosion is expected to take place on Sunday, September 17. Until then, the bomb is safe and will be guarded.
