On the one-year anniversary of the start of Russia’s war of aggression, Finland has decided to send another package of defence materiel to Ukraine. The aid package is valued at over EUR 160 million, and the combined value of all defence materiel packages submitted to Ukraine by Finland so far is EUR 750 million.
Three Leopard 2 mine clearing tanks will be included in the aid package. The Finnish government will give Ukraine training on how to use and take care of the tanks to ensure their effectiveness in clearing mines.
