Cambodian Blue Helmets sacrifices praised

The Cambodian Blue Helmet troops were lauded by the Foreign Affairs Minister Prak Sokhonn for their commitment, dedication, and sacrifice they make when carrying out their peacekeeping missions under the UN umbrella.

National Center for Peacekeeping Forces, Mines, and ERW Clearance director-general General Sem Sovanny said that since 2006 Cambodia had deployed 7,899 peacekeepers, including 528 women on 11 missions in nine countries, Sudan, Chad, South Sudan, the Central African Republic, Cyprus, Lebanon, Mali, Syria, and Yemen.
