Cambodia and India have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to clear landmines in Prey Andoung village, Pursat Province, to boost safety and Cambodia’s mine-free 2030 vision.
The Quick Impact Project (QIP), valued at $50,000 will clear about 200,000 square metres of contaminated land—benefiting nearly 1,000 villagers by transforming dangerous terrain into fertile farmland, safe playgrounds, and productive community spaces.
