A farmer was killed and another was injured in a landmine explosion at their farm in Chamkar Chek village, Sung Commune in Somlot district at Battambang province yesterday.
The incident happened about 2:30pm when the two farmers on their bulldozers were plowing their land for cultivation.
One of the farmers identified as Born Sokea, 27 died on the spot while the other Heng Sihor, 26, sustained facial injuries.
