A church in Lake County was evacuated after a groundskeeper found a homemade bomb in some nearby bushes. The bomb was discovered after Sunday morning’s service at Saint John’s Episcopal Church in Lakeport.
The Napa County Sheriff’s Office used a bomb disposal robot to disable and inspect the device. A 27-year-old man was arrested later in the day, and is being held on suspicion of possessing a destructive device.
