At least four civilians were killed in the blast of an improvised explosive device Friday in the central-north region of Burkina Faso, a security source told Xinhua in the capital Ouagadougou.
A tricycle among a convoy of civilians under Army escort hit an improvised explosive device, causing the death of at least four people, the source requesting anonymity said.
According to the source, the incident occurred in the locality of Bourzanga as the convoy from Djibo was traveling to Ouagadougou.
