Belgium: Explosion outside house in Antwerp


There has been an explosion outside the garage of a house on the Houthulststraat in the Antwerp district of Merksem. The explosion happened at around 5:30am.

The no significant damage was caused and the Antwerp Local Police Service reports that it is not aware of any casualties. Federal police forensics experts have visited the scene of the explosion to gather evidence and the bomb disposal service DOVO has been informed of the incident.
