Bangladesh: Two children hurt in crude bomb explosion in Rajshahi


Two minor boys suffered severe splinter injuries when an abandoned crude bomb they picked up exploded in Rajshahi city on Monday noon. The injured are Md Abdullah, 7, son of Alamgir Hossain, and Saba, 8, son of Md Shahin of Tikapara area in the city.

Witnesses said that the two children found a carton filled with crude bombs wrapped in scotch tape in garbage near their house while playing. When they picked up a crude bomb from the carton and threw it assuming it to be a tennis ball, the bomb exploded, leaving the children injured.
