Narayanganj Police have recovered a remote-controlled bomb from an abandoned shopping bag lying in front of a traffic police box on Dhaka-Chittagong HIghway in Siddhirganj area of Narayanganj.
The bomb was defused after two hours of endeavor at around 7:30pm on Monday.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Bomb Disposal Unit led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Mahmuduzzaman recovered and defused the bomb by detonating it.
