Bangladesh: 4 injured as crude bomb explodes at NCP event in Savar


At least four people were injured in a crude bomb explosion during a National Citizen Party (NCP) rally in Savar on Monday night, with three of them undergoing surgery at Enam Medical College Hospital, according to hospital authorities.

“Four injured people were brought to the hospital from the NCP programme. Three of them have been taken to the operating theatre. One of the injured, Shaheen Khandakar, suffered a deep wound to his left leg. His injury is comparatively serious,” Enam Medical College Hospital Emergency Medical Officer Dr Hasan told The Daily Star.
