Roseville police are continuing to investigate after officers discovered what they believed was an improvised explosive device during a traffic stop on Labor Day. The traffic stop occurred about 6:11 p.m. Monday near Atkinson and Ivy streets. The men told officers they had an explosive device, prompting officers to close a portion of the roadway while they investigated.
The suspected improvised explosive device was seized and remains part of the department’s ongoing investigation, Brewer said.
