The Arizona Department of Public Safety is out patrolling the roads every day. Still, DPS has a lot of different departments, like its bomb squad which responds to threats with the FBI and local police departments. They are constantly using new technology to help on calls.
DPS currently has 10 bomb squad technicians, and they use robot dogs. They are essentially a set of eyes and ears going into a call. They can replace humans or real dogs to search and investigate dangerous or suspicious situations without risking a life, and they can do this before they send one of their own into a location.
