An improvised explosive device (IED) with a remote control was found by police in the Afghan capital on October 4, the press service of the republic’s interior ministry said. The bomb was planted behind a private school in Kabul in the Zeinabad district, in the capital’s ninth police district, agency spokesman Tariq Arian said. The terrorists, according to Kabul police spokesman Ferdouz Faramartz, were going to disrupt the upcoming Teacher’s Day.
