An Afghan civilian was killed after an IED explosion occurred in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of the northern province of Balkh, according to the police officials in the city.
Ten others, including five civilians and five security force members, were wounded in the explosion in PD3 of the city.
According to Adel Shah Adel, a spokesman for the Balkh police force, the deputy inspector of PD3 police station, Ghulam Ali, has been wounded.
