At least eight Taliban insurgents, including Pakistani fighters, have been killed and four others wounded in clashes between Afghan forces and the Taliban in Nangarhar’s Achin and Spinghar districts.
This comes as a female suicide bomber and three of her accompanying affiliates were killed before reaching her target in Faryab province.
Officials on Monday said, the woman planned to blow herself up at Qaisar district’s police headquarters, but fortunately was identified before inflicting heavy casualties to the security force members.
