The Faryab Police Headquarters says, a Taliban group blew up a vehicle loaded with explosives in the Qaisar district bazaar.
In a statement, Faryab security officials reported, that the incident took place around 10:00 pm on Tuesday night, following repulsed of the attack by Taliban fighters in Qaisar district.
The reportedly car bomb attack by the Taliban did not cause any casualties but caused extensive financial damage to the public.
The statement adds, more than 100 shops were destroyed as a result of the incident.
