At least three members of the Afghan National Army were killed in a car bomb attack by the Taliban in the western province of Badghis on Sunday evening, an army commander said on Monday.
The incident happened in Bala Murghab district in Badghis when a Taliban suicide bomber detonated a humvee laden with explosives near an army outpost, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
Four other soldiers were wounded in the attack, the commander said.
