The Afghan National Defense and Security Forces have foiled militants bid to detonated two improvised explosive devices in capital Kabul.
The Kabul Police Headquarters in a statement said the improvised explosive devices were planted under a culvert and on a roadside in Syedan Burj-e-Surkh area of Chahar Asiab district of Kabul.
The statement further added that the Afghan security forces managed to discover and defuse the two improvised explosive devices before the anti-government militants manage to detonate them.
The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented in this regard so far.
