It’s not every day that a bomb is unearthed in Singapore, but a massive one just turned up at a construction site in Bukit Timah. Coming in at a whopping 100kg, the World War II aerial bomb will be detonated on September 26 (Tuesday).
The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team has deemed the war relic unsafe for moving, so the detonation will happen on site. For safety reasons, residents living in the area will have to evacuate their homes while the disposal is taking place.
