UK: ‘Heroic’ police officers save donkeys on Suffolk farm from unexploded device


A herd of donkeys on a Suffolk farm were “heroically” saved by police officers over the weekend after a suspected explosive device was found. Police were called to a farm in Kelsale, near Saxmundham, at around 1pm on Sunday (February 19) after receiving reports of an unexploded device.

In a Facebook post, Lowestoft Police said: “The Sentinels (officers) leapt into action and saved a herd of donkeys from impending doom before putting a cordon in place until experts from Colchester arrived.”
