Security forces on Wednesday killed two terrorists during a shootout in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district, the military said in a statement.
“On 10 August, an IED exploded on a police vehicle in general area Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan district. Army’s quick reaction force immediately reached and cordoned the incident site,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
It added that a fire exchange took place with terrorists which resulted in the killing of two terrorists. “Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists,” it added.
