According to the Taliban’s security officials, eight people were wounded on Saturday when unidentified assailants threw a hand grenade into a religious seminary in Nangarhar province, in eastern Afghanistan.
The grenade explosion targeted an Islamic religious school called Zunoorain Usman, in Nangarhar province’s Rodat district, about 25 kilometers from Jalalabad city, the provincial capital.
The injured have been sent to the nearby hospital, according to the security officials. One of them reportedly has a critical health condition.
