Thai Police Find Bomb In Busy Bangkok Road

Thai police say they have found and deactivated a bomb in Bangkok, a week after an explosion killed 20 people in the city.

Kamthorn Aucharoen, commander of the police’s bomb disposal team, said the explosive was discovered in Sukhumvit 81, one of the capital’s busiest roads.

“It was left in the house of a construction worker,” he said. “We have deactivated the bomb and will destroy it.”

However, Sky News understands it was a hand grenade.
