Explosion close to a clinic in Jalalabad city leaves 6 women, children wounded


At least six people including three women and three children were wounded in an explosion in Jalalabad city, the provincial capital of Nangarhar province.

The provincial government media office in a statement said the incident took place in the vicinity of 1st police district of the city.

The statement further added that explosives were planted close to health clinic of Dr. Farida which went off at around 9am local time, leaving three women and three children wounded.

According to provincial government, the women and children have sustained injuries and are being treated in provincial hospital.
