Sukma police calls it a major lead as there were large number of IEDs recovered later from several parts of the region, based on the statement given by those apprehended who pointed out spots of IEDs planted to harm security forces in upcoming elections.
“It is for the first time that police recovered micro IEDs from their possession weighing 250-500 grams. These were new kind of “Packet IEDs” with detonator covered in wires and metal fragments which could be easily hide in between leaves or hanged on tree which wouldn’t call for suspicion at all.”
