15 dead in Mogadishu by another suicide car-bombing claimed by al-Shabaab

The street, littered with smoldering pieces of debris and bloody body parts in what is yet another suicide car-bombing in the bustling Wadajir district within the capital city of Mogadishu. The al-Qaeda-linked terror group based in Somalia known as Harakat al-Shabaab (HSM) immediately claimed the attack as theirs as the group continues its campaign of death on the Somali government and the U.N. backed peace keepers of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).

Local witnesses claim that the jihadists concealed the vehicle borne improvised explosive (VBIED) within a milk delivery truck and detonated the vehicle just outside the Wadajir district government building ripping through the building and decimating civilians close to the blast. At least 15 people are reported to have died as a result with up 20 wounded. Most all of the victims were reported to be innocent civilians and the death toll is expected to rise.
