SEOUL, South Korea – Soldiers from a U.S. Army global mobile laboratory strengthened their partnerships with their Republic of Korea counterparts during a training event in South Korea.
The U.S. Army’s 1st Global Field Medical Laboratory trained together with the Republic of Korea Chemical, Biological, Radiological Field Analysis and Support Team (CFAST) in South Korea, April 27 – May 2. Previously called the 1st Area Medical Laboratory, the 1st Global Field Medical Laboratory “Lab Dragons” are part of the 44th Medical Brigade and 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives (CBRNE) Command, the U.S. Department of Defense’s premier multifunctional and deployable CBRN formation.
