The Countering Explosive Threat and Demining Conference – September 24 – 25, 2024, Copthorne Tara Hotel, London, Kensington, UK

Countering Explosive Threat and Demining (24-25 September at Copthorne Tara Hotel, London, Kensington) will be centered on the operations required for demining and EOD, including the need for advanced technologies to navigate the complexity of munitions detection and disposal. In our interactions with end-users, we learned that their primary objective is to obtain effective and unique technology to combat both large-scale demining and domestic bomb threats.

This year Countering Explosive Threat & Demining will allow you to:

  • Gain insights into the intricacies of localised challenges in EOD and demining, providing invaluable strategic insights and understanding military and NGO’s requirements on complex detection and disposal projects.
  • Receive upcoming procurement plans from DE&S on future ground search and munitions disposal equipment as the UK looks to improve the safety and efficiency of explosive ordnance detection and disposal.
  • The event is co-located with Uncrewed Systems conference, providing an opportunity to engage and network with industry and military across explosive ordnance disposal and unmanned systems.
  • This year’s event features an equitable representation of both military leaders and humanitarian mine action authorities, offering valuable networking opportunities with a range of actors involved in C-IED initiatives.

Join us this year as we bring together military forces, humanitarian groups and governments for a chance to hear presentations from the Counter-Explosive Ordnance community, and to learn about some of the latest advancements in C-IED and EO disposal from individuals and groups working on the ground.
