Two employees of a PT gas station in Tak Bai district of Narathiwat province were slightly injured last night by an IED rigged in a motorcycle side car.
The two injured victims were rushed to the district hospital, treated and were released later.
After being alerted to the explosion at about 9pm at the PT gas station on Highway 4327 in Jehae subdistrict, security forces rushed to the scene. The gas station and surrounding areas were cordoned off for safety reasons as an EOD unit searched the areas for more suspected devices.
