A powerful explosion shook Manbij in eastern Aleppo on Friday, claiming the lives of two men and injuring eight others. The blast, caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted in a civilian vehicle, occurred on Tajnid Street in the city center.
The explosion caused significant damage to parked cars and nearby homes. Rescue teams evacuated the injured to local hospitals, retrieved one of the victims’ bodies, extinguished fires, and cleared the debris caused by the attack. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the bombing is the fifth of its kind in areas recently seized by Turkish-backed factions.
