Director of Damascus Countryside Health Dr. Tawfiq Hasaba confirmed that the final toll from Thursday’s explosion in the city of Jaramana, Damascus Countryside, reached 14 injuries, including seven people who were transferred to Damascus Hospital, stressing that no fatalities were recorded.
Among the injured was Safouh Hussein Emad, the driver of the minibus involved in the explosion. He told SANA that the blast occurred while he was transporting passengers, causing the vehicle’s windows to shatter and injuring several passengers. He said the minibus was carrying around six or seven passengers at the time of the explosion.
