Russia: FSB warns of growing attempts by foreign intel services to drag Russians into terrorism


Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) reported an increase in the number of attempts by foreign special services, including Ukrainian ones, to remotely involve Russians into terrorist activities through blackmail, deception or bribery.

“We warn of increased activity by special services from unfriendly nations, including Ukraine, to drag Russian citizens into unlawful activities by blackmailing, cheating or bribing them,” the FSB warned. Among other methods, the FSB explained, they organize arson attacks on government buildings, cause damage to military, transportation and social facilities.
