RC-East Conducts IED Detection Training at Camp Bondsteel


PRISTINA – Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) soldiers assigned to Regional Command-East (RC-E), part of the NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR) mission, conducted Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detection and vehicle inspection training at Camp Bondsteel.

The training strengthens base security by improving detection capabilities, reinforcing safe search procedures, and enhancing coordination with security personnel. Through such activities, which focus on emergency scenarios, KFOR personnel maintain a high level of situational awareness and demonstrate the mission’s enduring commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo.
