Iraq’s Prime Minister has ordered his soldiers to stop using fake bomb detectors sold by a jailed British fraudster, as the death toll from an ISIS attack in Baghdad reaches 200 people.
Haider al-Abadi also ordered an investigation at the interior ministry into ‘corrupt deals’ to buy ADE 651 devices, the lost golf ball machines sold as bomb detectors by conman James McCormick.
The leader announced three days of mourning on Monday over the deaths from a suicide truck bomb that ripped through a busy shopping district in the capital early on Sunday morning.
