An 18-year-old from Ballwin was charged after prosecutors said he and three other teens placed explosives that detonated outside an assistant principal’s home Saturday night. Brian D. Pilarski, 18, was charged with second-degree arson and first-degree accessory to property damage.
The explosion happened just before 7:30 p.m. in a subdivision off Highway N, shaking the neighborhood and causing thousands of dollars in damage to the home of Keith Sanders, an assistant principal at Timberland High School.
