Hawaii: Multi-agency training exercise to be held Thursday in Kihei


The Maui Emergency Management Agency alerts Maui residents and visitors to a multi-agency, full-scale training exercise taking place from 6 a.m. Thursday at Bayer Facility located on Piilani Highway.

The 93rd Civil Support Team training will involve MEMA; Maui Fire Department; Maui Police Department; Emergency Medical Services; and the Hawaii National Guard’s 93rd Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Response Team. MEMA says the exercise will not pose any risk to the public or environment and is designed just for training purposes. There may be noise caused by the exercise.
