These devices represented an imminent risk and threat to the inhabitants who live in Tame, Arauca, as well as to the soldiers who carry out their mission.
With the objective of working to raise the protection of the inhabitants and maintain stability in the region, the troops of the Ground Operations Battalion N° 30 found and destroyed in controlled conditions an illegal hiding place where 12 improvised munitions were hidden, and 2 means of launching. These devices were hidden in a wooded area of the village Las Canoas, in Tame, Arauca, and would have been installed by the Uriel Londoño group, of the Structure 10 of the GAO-r Guadalupe Salcedo.
