Cambodia reported a total of 34 landmine and explosive remnant of war (ERW) casualties in the first nine months of 2025, down 12.8 percent from 39 over the same period last year, a spokesperson said on Wednesday.
“Ten people were killed, 21 people were injured, and three people were amputated due to landmine and ERW explosions during the January-September period this year,” Lang Kosal, a spokesperson for the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA), told Xinhua. He added that the victims were 24 men, five boys, three women, and two girls.
