Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude to the UK government for its assistance with mine clearance efforts.
According to Report, the head of state made the remarks during a meeting with the new Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan, Duncan Norman.
The president noted that Azerbaijan needs closer international cooperation in this area.
