Afghanistan: JICA Bolster Partnership to Accelerate Mine-Clearance Operations


Afghanistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have reaffirmed their dedication to broadening collaboration, mobilizing fiscal and technical resources, and accelerating mine-clearance operations across the country.

According to a statement from ANDMA’s press office, the talks chaired by the Authority’s Director General centered on the status of ongoing demining activities, critical operational gaps, the rollout of future initiatives, and avenues for strengthening bilateral engagement.
