Ukraine: Bomb disposal experts destroy over 40 WWII munitions in Kharkiv region


Explosive ordnance disposal experts from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region have recovered and destroyed 43 pieces of ammunition dating back to World War II.

According to the State Emergency Service agency, 38 mortar shells and 5 artillery shells were discovered in a forest area of the Slobozhanska community. SES specialists removed and destroyed all explosive devices. Rescuers reminded the public that even obsolete munitions remain deadly and urged citizens not to touch them if found, but to call 101.
