The Government of Tuzla Canton accepted the information on the achieved results of demining and destruction of unexploded ordnance in 2025, from which it follows that the teams achieved extremely good operational results, but that the future of mine action is seriously threatened due to the decline in donor interest.
According to official data, during 2025, a total of 6,270,364 square meters were demined in Tuzla Canton, which represents the second best annual result since the beginning of humanitarian demining in this canton.
