The liberated right (east) bank of Kherson Oblast is planned to be cleared of mines by the end of 2025.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Oblast Military Administration, 1,100 bomb disposal experts are currently working in the region and have already cleared 245,000 hectares.
