A metal detectorist found an unexploded bomb in a Port Talbot park.
Cwmavon councillor Charlotte Galsworthy said the man had been searching Parc Siencyn Powell (also known as Parc y Llyn) on Sunday afternoon when he made the discovery. She said: “It was an enthusiastic metal detector resident using the park during the day. His metal detector began beeping and he called the police who came to inspect what it was.
