The explosion didn’t stop Michael Liburdi. Neither did losing his right hand and right forearm or the ability to use most of his left arm. The coma didn’t stop the felon from Warren, either. Nor did three months in the hospital, medical bills and third-degree burns covering 65% of his 5-foot-3, 150-pound body.
So 13 months after Liburdi nearly died during an explosion that investigators believe was caused by leaky equipment at a Warren home operating as an explosives laboratory and black market marijuana oil processing facility, Liburdi was at a new home in Metro Detroit with more guns and more explosives, according to federal prosecutors.
