Following a recent spate of torrential rains and landslides, residents in O’Snguot village, Bor Yakha commune in Pailin city were surprised when they stumbled onto unexploded ordnances sticking out from the ground in a plot of land on Wednesday.
Sam Kour Lin told the local media yesterday that he was walking near the plot of land when he suddenly saw bullet heads popping out of the ground while it was raining and decided to dig the soil to check it out.
After digging, he said he realised that they were unexploded ordnances of war and decided to carefully collect them and put near the roadside.
