Armed assailants bombed a G4S cash vehicle after shooting and injuring the driver on the road between KaNyamazane and KaBokweni this afternoon. The Mpumalanga Hawks’ spokesperson, Capt Dineo Lucy Sekgotodi, said three armed men forced the G4S vehicle to a standstill and shot the front right and rear tyres. Sekgotodi said the driver and two crew members were forced out of the cash-in-transit van which was then bombed.
“An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the driver of the van was shot at. “He was taken to hospital.”
The guard is being treated for his injuries at a local hospital.https://t.co/AmePCKzd8t
