Philippine Coast Guard personnel on Saturday night seized an “unexploded ordnance” that got accidentally stuck at a vessel’s anchor off Batangas.
The device was initially reported as an “explosive type object” and was later verified to be a Projectile 155 MM, “a high explosive unexploded ordnance,” according to PCG.
PCG personnel in Batangas learned of the ordnance after they responded to a report regarding an unidentified explosive type object accidentally caught at the starboard anchor of MV St Ignatius of Loyola.
